The main NLP idea is that regardless of what happened to you in the past, you can live a normal life, not affected by any past event.
This can happen only when we disrupt the subconscious mechanism by which you were “re-bring” the past event into your now- on a purely subconscious level.
Many people feel stuck in their lives and blame their stuck state on something external to them that “causes” them to feel stuck. That something can be arbitrary, such as “unhappy childhood”, an “unpleasant event”, a sense of incapability or any other “obstacle” that is seen as external to oneself. It feels bad and it feels real. It is so real sometimes that the entire moment right now is defined by the block.
When you have been diagnosed with depression, typically you would have been told you require a lifetime drug therapy, and something is “wrong” with you. According to an established medical tradition, you are “broken”.
If you have been suffering from depression, you must realize you have been creating that state for yourself.
